Book the days you need, one at a time.
Doors open at 8:30 AM at no extra charge. The $65 rate is for families enrolled in After School Programming for at least one month. For shorter stays, the rate is $75.
Book a PA DayWe love welcoming families from outside our usual school community. We’re happy to open our PA Days to you, even when your school board has a different schedule. To keep these dates available for our out-of-district families, we need enough registrations to make each day work.
If a date doesn’t reach the minimum, we’ll give you at least 7 days’ notice. You choose what happens next: a full refund or a move to another PA Day, whichever suits your family.
Coming from another school board or a little farther away? Bring a friend and carpool. You’ll both save 10%, and your extra registration helps make sure we can keep offering PA Days to families like yours.

PA Days run from our studio at 36 Broadlands Blvd, in the Broadlands community of Don Mills, North York. There is parking on site, so drop-off and pick-up are easy.
The program runs 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with no extra charge for either drop-off or pick-up. Families coming from further out have plenty of room to get here without rushing.
Close to Broadlands Public School (TDSB), St. Catherine Catholic School (TCDSB), Cassandra Public School (TDSB), Three Valleys Public School (TDSB), Norman Ingram Public School (TDSB) and St. Bonaventure Catholic School (TCDSB), and an easy drive from across Don Mills, North York, East York, Leaside, Victoria Village and Parkwoods.
Broadlands Community Centre and Broadlands Park sit walking distance from our front door, so the season changes what we do, not whether we go out.

Never more than ten kids to a guide. Small enough that every kid is known by name, not counted in a crowd.
Our guides hold current first aid certification, so the person with your child knows what to do in an emergency. Hexagon is led by Registered Early Childhood Educators.
Every member of our team completes a Vulnerable Sector Check before working with our kids.
No nuts on site, for anyone. Tell us about any allergy when you register and we plan the day around it. If your child needs medication during the day — an inhaler, an EpiPen, anything prescribed — tell us at registration; the authorization form is in your registration package.
If your child needs extra support, tell us before you enrol. Bring us the details, whether that is an IEP, a diagnosis, or simply what you have learned as their parent. We can very often make it work, but only if we know.

Hexagon is a hands-on enrichment program for kids aged 6–12. Through After School Programming, PA Day Adventures and Camp Experiences, kids spend their time making, moving and meeting.
We don’t believe kids need more time simply being kept busy. They need opportunities to MAKE, MOVE and MEET. Every Hexagon experience is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and give kids something meaningful to do, discover or create.
Hexagon programming is designed by educators who understand how kids learn best: through doing, questioning, creating, moving and working with others. Every experience has a purpose behind it.
No. Hexagon is an enrichment program. Your child is supervised the whole time by first-aid qualified, Vulnerable Sector Checked guides, but the hours are planned around hands-on projects, movement and outdoor exploration rather than filling time.
Every PA Day is different. Kids might build, cook, create, experiment, solve a challenge, head outside, explore the neighbourhood, or dive into a project they’re curious about.
The day is shaped around a mix of make, move and meet experiences, with plenty of room to choose, try something new, and make the day their own.
It’s the best place to start. A single day costs less than committing to a term, your child gets a full day rather than a couple of hours, and you both find out whether Hexagon suits them before anything longer is on the table.
PA Days are designed to get kids out and into the neighbourhood.

Your consent for these walks is part of the PA Day registration package, and you’ll always know the plan ahead of time.
Absolutely. Movement and outdoor exploration are an important part of the Hexagon experience. Whenever possible, we take learning beyond the studio and into the neighbourhood.
We don’t wait for perfect weather to go outside. We embrace what the day brings.
Rain means puddles, muddy adventures, and experiencing the outdoors a little differently.
If the public school boards close for weather, we close too.
We’ll email you as early as we can.
Families receive important program information through email before their child’s experience, along with updates and reminders when needed. We want parents to feel informed without being overwhelmed.

Yes. After School runs on scheduled school days only, so it doesn’t run when school is closed for a PA Day.
Want to join us that day? PA Day Adventures are available separately at $65 for families enrolled in After School Programming for at least one month, and $75 otherwise.
PA Days at Hexagon are a drop-off and pick-up program. Families drop their child off at 36 Broadlands Blvd and pick them up at the end of the day.

At registration, let us know who is authorized to pick up your child. If someone else will be picking them up, please let us know ahead of time.
Please pack a nut-free lunch and a few snacks for your child to enjoy throughout the day. We have a fridge and microwave available, so you’re welcome to send food that needs to be kept cold or warmed up.
Pack enough to keep them energized and fueled for the day.
Come ready for a full day of making, moving, exploring, and connecting. We recommend comfortable clothing, a refillable water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing, and indoor shoes. We spend time outside, so please pack for the weather, including a waterproof layer and boots when needed.

Hexagon is a nut-free facility. Please let us know about any allergies at registration so we can plan accordingly.

Live in different school districts but want your kids to spend the PA Day together? Carpool and you both save 10%. It’s our carpool discount for families travelling a little further to join us, and a great excuse to bring a friend along for the day.
A $25 deposit per child holds your place, whatever you’re booking. It comes off your first payment, so it’s not an extra cost.
Plans change? Just let us know. We’ll keep your deposit on file and apply it to another PA Day when your child can join.
Plans change. Let us know at least 7 days before the PA Day and we’ll move your booking to another available date.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the date can’t be moved or refunded, as we may not have enough time to fill the spot. If something unexpected comes up, reach out. We’ll always do our best to work with you.
It works the other way too. If we ever have to cancel a date, you get at least 7 days’ notice and your choice of a full refund or a move to another date.
